zxyasfas/mike
A near-untouched mirror of Mike whose one visible experiment - smoother document uploads - was pulled minutes after it went up.
This is a fork of Mike that hasn't meaningfully diverged from where it started. It sits even with upstream, and the single thread of work we can see never landed: @zxyasfas floated an idea and then closed it almost immediately.
That idea was about making file upload feel less clunky. @zxyasfas proposed letting users drag files straight into the document picker modals - both the shared picker and the project-scoped one - instead of clicking through a chooser every time. It's a small, sensible quality-of-life move, layered on the existing flow. The pull request was closed unmerged about fifteen minutes after opening, so nothing from it reached the app.
We don't have a rebrand, a niche, or a stated direction here - just @zxyasfas and one upload-experience experiment that didn't stick. If you're curious what the change looked like, GitHub has the full picture.
What's in it
- Drag-and-drop uploads (proposed, not landed) @zxyasfas pitched pulling files directly into the document picker modals rather than routing every upload through the chooser. The change was closed unmerged, so it never shipped.

zxyasfas floats drag-and-drop document uploads, then pulls the plug
A quick attempt to let users drop files straight into Mike's document pickers, opened and closed inside a quarter of an hour.
Drag-and-drop upload added to document picker modals (closed unmerged)
zxyasfas proposed drag-and-drop file upload for both document picker modals, layered on top of the existing chooser. The PR was closed without merging about 15 minutes after opening, so this change never landed in willchen96/mike.
