shaneb18/mike
An almost-untouched fork of Mike whose only move so far is to nail down its open-source license terms.
This is shaneb18's fork of Mike, and at the moment there's very little to it beyond the original. If you tried it today you'd essentially be running Mike - the one piece of original work is a deliberate, explicit declaration that this copy is offered under the AGPL-3.0-only license.
That's a small change, but a telling one for a legal-tech audience: shaneb18 is being precise about the terms under which the software is distributed, pinning down the strong copyleft obligations of AGPL rather than leaving licensing ambiguous. It reads as housekeeping by someone who cares about getting the legal footing right before building.
We don't have signal yet on who shaneb18 is beyond the handle, where this is headed as a product, or whether a niche or rebrand is coming. If you want to watch it take shape, the GitHub repo is the place to look.
What's in it
- Explicit AGPL-3.0 licensing shaneb18 has made the fork's open-source terms unambiguous, committing it to the strong copyleft obligations of AGPL-3.0-only.
