christsx's fork rebrands the upstream Mike project as "Law OS," sweeping the new name through the docs.

Early days - two commits in, the fork is a name change with no feature work yet, and the last push was a week before MikeWatch first saw it.

Law OS is an early fork of Mike by the developer christsx. So far the work is a rename: the product is presented throughout as "Law OS" rather than "Mike," with the upstream branding and project links swapped out for the new identity. We don't have signal on who christsx is beyond the handle, or a stated mission past the name itself.

The "Law OS" name hints at an ambition - an operating system for legal work - but nothing in the fork yet builds toward a specific feature, niche, or audience. It's a fresh coat of paint on the upstream project, not a product departure.

If you're curious where this goes, there isn't much to try yet beyond what upstream Mike already offers. Click through to GitHub to watch whether christsx puts substance behind the new name.
