dropthejase builds a document agent that redlines like a lawyer
A from-scratch AI assistant that reads your files, drafts new ones, and edits existing documents as tracked changes you can actually review.
dropthejase has stood up a brand-new AI assistant built to work on documents the way a lawyer does. It opens PDFs and Word files, hunts down specific passages inside them, drafts fresh documents from a brief, and - the part that matters most - edits existing ones as tracked changes. You get a redline to review and accept or reject, not a black-box rewrite you have to trust on faith.
Under the hood it runs on Claude models hosted on Amazon's European cloud, and it holds context across a conversation so you can work back and forth. One quiet but important decision: the assistant works out who you are from your login, never from anything the AI itself can set, so the model can't be coaxed into reaching another user's files.
