dropthejase rebrands Mike as Louis, with a Suits streak

The fork ditches the Mike name for Louis and gives the assistant a personality borrowed straight from the legal drama.

brandingchat-ui

dropthejase has renamed the whole product from Mike to Louis across the interface - the sidebar, the browser tab, workflow labels, the lot. More fun: the little status messages that flicker while the assistant is thinking have been swapped for nods to the TV show Suits. Instead of a generic "working on it," you now get lines like "Litting it up" and "Delegating to Katrina." Pure flavour, but flavour that tells you who built this and who it's for.

Underneath the rename, the team also cleared out a large chunk of old machinery - the original engine that ran the assistant before a newer one took over - and tidied the setup notes so they match how the fork actually builds today.

So what Worth a look if you care how legal-AI tools establish their own identity rather than shipping as anonymous chatbots.
