dropthejase spends eight commits making louis's assistant keep its promises
A cluster of quiet bugs meant the AI assistant was generating documents, citations, and edits that never properly reached the user - and dropthejase went through and fixed them.
Several things in louis's document assistant were silently broken. Documents the assistant generated weren't appearing in the download card at all. Citations were pointing at throwaway internal labels instead of the real documents they referenced, so some couldn't be traced back. Files a user attached to a request, and the workflow they were working inside, weren't actually being handed to the assistant - so it answered without the context the user thought it had. Download links were also going stale before users could use them.
dropthejase worked through the lot: tracked edits now record properly, citations resolve to real documents, attached files and workflow context reach the assistant, and downloads stay live. The team also added structured logs so future failures are searchable rather than guesswork.
