open-legal-products gives Mike's interface a darker, calmer visual system

The original Mike project is consolidating how its web app and Word add-in look and behave, with dark mode treated as a first-class setting.

workflowchat-ui

The team has replaced scattered styling choices with a shared set of surface treatments and interaction cues. The practical effect is a more consistent experience as users move between research, drafting, chat, tables and workflow screens.

  • Dark mode now extends across document, editor, citation, spreadsheet and chat views.
  • Shared visual rules bring more consistent hover, selected and pressed states to controls and modal screens.
  • The Word add-in and web experience now draw from the same visual language.

It is a broad interface refresh rather than a new legal capability, but it should make Mike feel more coherent across everyday work.

So what Legal teams using Mike across browser and Word workflows should care because a consistent, dark-mode-aware interface reduces friction in the tools they use all day.
