open-legal-products makes Mike's document intake fit real case folders
Mike can now take in whole local folders without flattening the filing structure people already use.
The maintainers have focused on the unglamorous but consequential part of legal AI: getting documents into the system without creating a new organisational mess. Folder uploads retain their nested structure across projects, files and templates, while name clashes are surfaced before a conflicting folder is created.
- Upload a local folder and preserve its internal hierarchy.
- Handle duplicate folder names by offering a clearly labelled available alternative.
- Select a run of documents with Shift-click or move several at once with drag and drop.
- Keep uploads manageable with a 50-file limit per folder batch and clearer, safer error messages.
The team has also improved the controls used to select nested documents, making them easier to operate with assistive technology.
