open-legal-products turns Settings into a trustworthy control room
Mike's maintainers have made configuration easier to navigate while tightening a crucial safeguard around legal AI citations.
The former account area is now a unified Settings space, with old links still leading users to the right place. The aim is less hunting through disconnected screens and clearer choices when configuring the product.
- API-key prompts now point users directly to the place where keys are managed.
- Local multi-factor authentication setup is supported without storing secrets in the tracked configuration.
- The assistant is no longer instructed to invent citations, with a test intended to stop that behaviour returning.
The team also checked the change across the web product, backend, Word add-in and browser-based Settings journeys.
