bgevconsultancy folds Mike into one application
The fork removes the split between Mike's web interface and its separate backend, putting the product behind one front door.
bgevconsultancy has moved Mike's authentication, matters, document library, user controls and chat services into the web application itself. Live chat responses remain in place, and tabular document review has been brought back into the same setup.
For a firm or legal product team, the practical appeal is simpler deployment and fewer moving parts to operate. This is a whole-system rewrite, though, not a safe menu of small improvements to lift one by one. Teams with an existing customised Mike installation would need to assess the migration as a single change, especially where their own backend has diverged.
