Sloth-ninja turns Clio matters into JessicaOSS's working front door
The fork puts solicitors' existing matter permissions at the centre of legal work, rather than creating a second matter list.
Clio, a legal practice-management platform, now supplies the matter view while JessicaOSS attaches its workspaces, documents, chats and reviews to those live records. That keeps the source of truth with the firm and shows each solicitor only the matters they can already access.
- Matter views separate a solicitor's own matters, the wider firm list and existing workspaces, with search and status filtering.
- Matter pages bring together people, custom information, financials, time records and the linked workspace.
- Solicitors can update or delete their own unbilled time, while billed entries remain locked and conflicting edits prompt a reload.
- Teams can start a workspace for a matter or, where permitted, link an existing one.
If Clio is unavailable or disconnected, the workspace view remains usable rather than blocking work.
