Sloth-ninja picks Clio as JessicaOSS's first practice-management bridge
The fork has chosen its first legal practice connector, with EU hosting and clear limits already on the record.
Sloth-ninja has dropped the earlier Quill and Unity route in favour of Clio, the legal practice-management platform, starting with its EU-hosted services. This is a planning decision, not a live connection yet, but it gives the project a more concrete path into a firm's working systems.
- Practice management: access to firm documents is in scope, while creating bills and linking an AML service are not currently available.
- Client intake: Clio's separate intake product is being treated as its own connection, focused on reading and monitoring information rather than replacing the firm's intake process.
- Delivery constraints: the team has recorded permission, hosting and usage-limit requirements before testing the connection.
